I put my monstera in "the bright corner" for a year. It never grew. Turns out my bright corner was 40 lux — basically a cave.

Measure, don't guess

Your eyes lie about light. A camera sensor doesn't. TEND's light meter reads a room in a second and tells you where the plant actually wants to be.

Move it slowly

A plant that's been in the dark needs a gentle ramp to full sun, or it'll scorch. Shift it a foot a week.
